We are 100% Australian owned and operated, located just North of Adelaide we service everything from the Fleurieu to the Yorke Peninsulas, and everything in between. We have pop-up locations in various locations along the South Australian coastline, and can cater to private events and retreats - bringing the sauna experience right to your door!

At Float Away Saunas, we offer a range of services to accommodate everyone.

Open Group Sauna Sessions:
If you're looking to squeeze in a quick sauna session without breaking the bank, then this is the session for you.
Open group sauna sessions are cheap, and give you the opportunity to meet some other like-minded sauna enthusiasts.
30 minute session - $25 PER PERSON
1 hour session - $45 PER PERSON
Maximum 6 people per session

Private Group Sauna Sessions:
If you're looking for a more private sauna experience, then we have what you're looking for.
Private sauna sessions are ideal if you already have a group ready to go, or you just want to enjoy the sauna experience with your significant other.
30 minute session - $100
1 hour session - $180
Minimum 2 people (per safety regulations)
Maximum 6 people per session

We recommend keeping the sauna door closed as much as possible to maintain the perfect temperature for everyone, but you’re not expected to stay inside for the full hour.
Feel free to take breaks whenever you need. Refreshments and electrolytes are available to purchase if you’d like a little extra hydration during your session.

Bring the Float Away experience to your home or event. We offer flexible private hire options, from a few blissful hours to full-day and weekend bookings.
We take care of everything — delivery, setup, and pack-down — so all you need to do is relax. Our friendly team will ensure your sauna is ready to go and show you how to make the most of your session.

3-Hour Private Hire — From $350
Prices apply to the Adelaide Metro area. Locations outside this area may incur a travel fee.
If you have any questions or would like a personalised quote, we’d love to hear from you.
Delivery is included for all hires within Metro Adelaide (up to 10 km from the city).
When booking online, you can also select Outer Metro (up to 25 km from Adelaide) — a small travel fee will apply.

For locations beyond 25 km, we generally charge a small fee per additional km. Please get in touch for a personalised quote!
We keep things fair and transparent, so you can enjoy your Float Away experience without any surprises. Just tell us your location when enquiring, and we’ll handle the rest!
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your session. This enables you slip into your sauna attire, and fill out the waiver before your session - if you haven't already.
Please arrive showered and free from any sand and fragrances. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of the sauna and endeavour to keep it free of chemicals and harsh irritants.
Spray tans and hair dyes - If you have had either a spray tan or coloured your hair within 7 days, you will be unable to sauna. Due to the reds and brown dyes leaking into the natural grain of the wood.
Please bring:
Comfortable clothing
Bathers to wear into the sauna
A towel for your shower afterwards
Drinking water to stay hydrated!
Drinks and electrolytes will also be available to purchase. Just ask one our friendly staff.

Each guest is provided with a freshly laundered towel to sit on during their session.

Private rental inclusions:
When you book a private hire, we bring the full Float Away experience to you.
Your hire includes:
Delivery, setup, and pack-down
A dedicated staff member on-site for the duration of your booking to maintain temperature, manage the fire, and ensure everything runs seamlessly
Safety checks to ensure location compliance
Six towels included (additional towels available for hire)
And if you need anything at all, we’re always right there to help.
At Float Away Saunas, we aim to make the sauna experience accessible to all.
We recommend sauna use for anyone aged 7 and up. For safety and wellbeing, all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Pop your valuables in our safe spot and leave the rest behind. Phones off, vibes on — soak up the sauna magic!
Want a memory? Our team will happily snap a pic of you or your group (with everyone’s permission, of course).
Health and Safety
Your safety is our top priority. Our saunas operate at temperatures of up to 85°C, which significantly increases heart rate and body temperature. Individual responses to heat can vary.
Sauna use is safe for most people. However, if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, or any medical condition, please consult your healthcare provider before booking.

General Guidelines
Avoid alcohol and medications that affect heat tolerance before or after your session.
Do not use the sauna if you’re feeling unwell. Exit immediately if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable.
Cool down gradually after your session.
Stay hydrated — drink water before and after use.
Never sauna alone.
Hygiene
The sauna is cleaned with natural products between every hire.
Towels are washed and sanitised after each use.
Please shower prior to your session.
Setup & Safety Requirements
We work closely within CFS guidelines and South Australian regulations to ensure every sauna experience is safe and stress-free.

To make things run smoothly, we require:
A clear, level space of at least 3 × 4 metres
Easy access to the setup area (via driveway or garden access)
A 4-metre clearance from the sauna flue to any vegetation, buildings, or flammable materials
All pop-up locations to operate under the appropriate council permits
Private hires to take place on privately owned property (unless prior council approval has been arranged)
